A typical day
During walks and drop-in visits: During dog or cat walks, I like to be patient and let them sniff all the smelly smells, this is great mental stimulation and enrichment for them. I will always follow your pet’s usual walking route and routine unless you tell me otherwise. For drop-in visits, I’m happy to play with their favorite toys for exercise and fun, and puzzle toys are a great way to keep their minds engaged. Treats may also be given to build trust or practice tricks, but only with your approval so no tummy issues happen on my watch. I’ve had cats my whole life and truly love animals, so I will care for your pets like they are my own. Every visit always ends with plenty of love and attention before I say goodbye (or until next time!). 🐾

Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals my whole life and absolutely devote my life to taking care of my own and making sure they live a full, happy life. That being said I would do the same for your pets. In the past I have worked as a Vet Assistant, Animal Foster Coordinator, and managed a dog grooming facility. This has gained me lots of experience with different dogs and cats, elderly or young. I am knowledgable on administering medication, basic training on a young pup or kitty, handling a pet properly in different situations, and most importantly cuddles! Your pet not a cuddler? That is totally fine and I would respect that pets boundary so they always feels safe and calm. I absolutely love dogs and cats, but I can take care of all kinds of animals too! From reptiles and amphibians to small mammals. I have grown up with them all. I have a rabbit and hedgehog of my own. During my drop in visits: During my drop in visits I would make sure your animal are fed if needed, water bowls are filled, bladders are released, and they are loved while their main hoomans are away. I will not disrupt a certain routine if there is one. During my walking visits: During my walking visits your dog will get a safe, fun walk to stretch their legs, explore, and burn off some energy. I’ll make sure they have fresh water if needed, get a potty break, and receive lots of love and attention while their main hoomans are away. I always follow your dog’s routine and comfort level so they feel safe, happy, and cared for.

Amanda took amazing care of my dog! She is very communicative, sends daily pictures/videos, and made me feel very at ease leaving my pet with her for the week. Amanda even went out of her way to help me out when I was in a pinch. She is absolutely great with animals and I would recommend her to anyone!

Amanda is so amazing with my dogs!! She is reliable, communicative, and cares about the dogs so much. She always updates on anything that happens on walks to be aware of, and makes sure to tell me if the dogs are acting different than usual for any reason. HIGHLY recommend. I trust her greatly in caring for my babies!!
