I run my own dog training business, so my schedule is quite flexible. I am able to fit visits and walks in between training sessions.

Caring for your pet in their own home, provides the comfort of their safe place while their humans are away at work or on vacation, allowing them to maintain as close to their usual routine as possible! I will consult with you ahead of time to make sure I have everything I need to ensure everything goes smoothly, leaving you one less thing to worry about while away from your pet!
Information Amanda E. would like to know about your pet
If you use specific commands other than the standard sit, stay, down etc. If your pet has any anxieties or fears that we may need to know in order to cater our walk route, or if they may need extra comfort during storms/fireworks etc. If your pet has limitations/special instructions for walking during high/low temps or if they need to go slow/shorter distances etc. Any behaviour issues such as (but not limited to): Reactivity to other dogs/animals/kids etc. on or off leash, tendency to bolt when doors are opened, resource/food guarding/aggression, wary of new people etc. Anything else you think it’s important I know in order to properly care for your furry friend(s) while you’re away from home!
A typical day
I personally believe that going on a walk with a furry friend should be more than just exercise! Their brain should get to work too! That’s why I love to include lots of “sniff breaks”, and try to change up routes a little each time, even if it’s something simple like going left instead of right at an intersection! If we're "hanging out" indoors, we could bust out a puppy puzzle or other enrichment activities, or have a run around in the yard (if available and weather permits of course!)

Loving, Professional Pet Care!
Pet care experience
Hey there! Thanks for taking a look at my profile! It's been a few years since I originally started with Rover, and while I've been away, I've become an accredited, professional dog trainer! I do offer positive reinforcement and fear-free training through my business, but decided to come back to Rover to offer basic services as well! While I love training, I know there are many pet parents out there that may not need, or want, professional training services for their pets, and that's TOTALLY OKAY! By choosing me for your pet care needs, you benefit from having an animal services professional care for your furry family member (at a reduced rate compared to training focused services) AND I get to care for pets I may not normally see! It's a win-win! If you're interested in booking services, please schedule a meet and greet! I can't wait to meet your fur babies!
