Pet care experience
Pets are not just animals that live in our houses but they are part of our families. I have had pets my whole life and will care for yours as I do my own. Each pet is different and therefore requires different levels of care which I am able to provide. I have cared for small dogs, large dogs, cats and sick pets. I am comfortable administering medication, feeding, cleaning up after them and following any other instructions you left. Beyond the basic care you can be confident in leaving your pets in my care as they would be loved, played with and kept safe. I’m always attentive and can provide timely communication so you will never have to worry about their well being.

Amanda watched my cat, Doughboy, and my dog, Benny, for three years. I was super nervous to trust someone else with my babies. Doughboy was experiencing some separation anxiety, and I was worried that nobody would learn Benny's needs and handle him with the care he deserved. I took a chance on Amanda, and my pets quickly became attached. Amanda was incredibly reliable and honest every step of the way. I always felt heard and supported as we tried and adjusted our methods or treatment and care for Doughboy and Benny. Amanda is the only person I trust with my dog She handles him easily (he’s 90 pounds) and takes him to the park or hiking on overnights Amanda is very reliable and has been able to help me out in a pinch! She’s also very good with my cats, she sends me frequent pictures and I think they like Amanda more than they like me !

Currently I have one cat who can be a bit of a menace when he’s not being the sweetest boy around. I keep a regular schedule for feeding and clean his litter box multiple times a week. He never lacks play time and we are working on behavioral training. When caring for dogs or cats in others’ homes I will provide the same level of care. For dogs I am always sure to walk them frequently and for a good length of time. When possible I love spending time with dogs in the park. I believe a key part of pet care is making sure they are stimulated both with my own attention as well as toys. I have been working towards getting my own cat comfortable with a harness in hopes of taking him for walks as he loves the outdoors but is an inside cat so I would be very happy if your cat enjoys walks. No matter what kind of care your animal requires I will do my very best to make sure they are happy and loved while in my hands.

I am a barista and my schedule is very flexible. With enough notice I can be available almost whenever you need. I am looking for a consistent schedule but am also able to provide one time or intermittent care.
