With three decades of hands-on experience, I’ve had the joy and responsibility of caring for a wide range of animals and homes. From energetic puppies to senior pets needing medication, multi-pet households to quiet countryside retreats, I’ve built a reputation for being dependable, detail-oriented, and deeply caring. Over the years, I’ve cared for: • Dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels • Cats with a wide range of personalities and needs • Rabbits, turtles, fish, and other small animals • Homes big and small—always kept clean, secure, and well-tended What sets me apart is my consistency and calm presence. I show up on time, follow routines as requested, and keep in regular communication while you’re away. Whether it’s administering medication, watering plants, bringing in the mail, or offering your pets lots of playtime and affection, I approach each sit with the same level of care and respect I would want for my own home and animals. Over the years, many of my clients have become repeat families and even friends—because they know they can trust me to show up with integrity, kindness, and competence every single time.

In your home or mine, I follow each pet’s routine with care—feeding, walks, meds, play, and rest. I create a calm, safe space and stay attentive to their needs, keeping them happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away.

Amanda did a great job with our pets - a dog and 2 cats that she had never met. Our scheduled sitter had an emergency and needed to leave. Amanda stepped in on Christmas Eve and took care of everyone for the remaining days of our trip. We’re grateful for the last minute availability and would use her again.

Schedule
I am a yoga facilitator and artist focused on intentional living. I love nature wanders and being present with all creatures I get to encounter. I follow each animal’s schedule—morning walks, feeding, medication, play, and check-ins—while keeping the home clean and calm. I stay observant and responsive, making sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for every step of the way.

- To give your pets the best care possible, here are a few key things I’d love to know in advance: • Daily routine (feeding times, walk schedules, bedtime rituals) • Medical needs (medications, allergies, past health issues) • Behavior quirks (anxieties, fears, triggers, favorite toys/activities) • House rules (couch access, leash preferences, off-limit areas) • Emergency contacts (vet info, your number, backup contact) • Home basics (WiFi, trash days, plant care, how to lock up, etc.) • Any extra love notes—things your pet adores or needs for comfort The more I know, the better I can keep your pets happy, safe, and relaxed in your absence
