Amanda did a great job taking care of our 2 golden retriever! I have already rebooted her to watch them again.

I was unfortunately very disappointed with my experience. I booked a week of in-home care for my dogs through Rover, and while I was out of state, I received no photos or updates unless I reached out first. When you are trusting someone to stay in your home and care for your pets while you are away, communication and reassurance are incredibly important. The most stressful issue occurred near the end of the stay when she messaged asking what time I would be home the following day. It became apparent that she had the dates mixed up and did not realize she was scheduled to stay an additional day. I was still out of state and unable to simply come home, which put me in a very stressful position worrying about whether my dogs would have care. When I returned home, my dogs acted as though they urgently needed to go outside, and their water bowls were empty. I also discovered a scab beneath one dog’s eye and another on his nose. When I asked about it, I was told that a tick had been removed from him during my trip, but this had never been communicated to me. I absolutely would have expected to be notified about something like that when it happened. I understand that things can happen when caring for animals, and my concern is not that my dog had a tick or a minor injury. My concern is the lack of communication about his condition, the lack of regular updates throughout the week, the confusion regarding the dates of the booking, and what I found when I returned home. I spent a significant amount of money on in-home care specifically so I could feel confident that my dogs were safe, comfortable, and well cared for while I was away. Unfortunately, I did not have that peace of mind, and based on my experience, I would not book with this sitter again.

Shadow was well taken care of! Amanda had a personal medical emergency in which her husband stepped up to Help with Shadow - He did an excellent job, despute the difficult circumstances he and Amanda faced! Together they made sure Shadow was well taken care of, fed, litter changed, food routine maintained- his oral medication was given- and he was played with and shown considerable kindness! We were updated in detail about his care and how he was doing and given a generous amount of pictures- all of which helped reassure us that Shadow was safe and in great care- We highly recommend Amanda and her husband!

Amanda did a fantastic job with our boy! He really looked forward to her coming over and we can't wait to have her watch him again! She spent a lot of time with him making sure he was good and having fun.

She was able to accommodate me on a 2 hour notice, she really saved my entire day. very responsive, very easy to talk to.
