Farm vacation! Full time dog lady!
My husband and I are full time, insured dog professionals offering a multitude of dog services (boarding, day care, training, transport, import). I have cared for everything from Frenchies to Malinois to Mastiffs. We live on a farmette and our back yard backs up to our pastures for our pigs, sheep, chickens and horses, so your pups will always have something interesting to look at! I understand the need for consistency with all dogs and my current clients love coming to their farm vacations because of it! We provide a huge fenced yard that was fenced specifically for dogs with three board wood and pet fencing in between, as well as a separate quiet room that the dogs stay in while unable to be watched for their safety (we do have air conditioning in our home since that is a frequently asked question for the brachycephalic breeds). We never have unfamiliar dogs alone together and each dog family has their own space to be able to rest, relax and eat between being outside and playing alone or in a group depending on their needs. Boarding with us provides you with the professionalism and safety of a kennel but the personal touch and care of a home while you are away. Chews, toys and treats are provided with owner approval and photos and videos are sent on a regular basis if you want to ensure your babies are having a blast at “camp”. I am home all day and able to meet the needs of puppies or senior dogs who need frequent outdoor time and I am able to give all other dogs ample outdoors time, either alone or with my very friendly Chessie as a playmate. My husband and I are experienced with all behavior types, and monitor all interactions to ensure your dog is safe and enjoying social time. During busy seasons, we can accommodate multiple clients as long as everyone is friendly. I also have the ability to take reactive dogs and give them plenty of alone time both inside and outside. No dogs are ever left unmonitored while outside or while interacting with other dogs if they are able to do so. Health and safety is the first priority with fullilment being a close second!

Really great experience for us and our young lab Millie. Millie was a little scared at first and we were a little worried how she would do. (First time away) Amanda and the experience were great! By day two, Millie seemed happy as can be. Amanda shared insightful updates with us all week and videos and pics showing Millie playing happily ! She helped Millie adapt and adjust. We got back a happy but probably tired pup! We were clearly in expert and caring hands. Thank you Amanda!

Amanda was amazing! It was my first time boarding my 2 large dogs and I was quite nervous however Amanda was extremely reassuring and sent me photos every day and let me know what my pups were up to! They had a great time and had a better vacation than my family did!
Amanda watched Bailey for 10 days while we were away on vacation. Although we missed her, we were grateful for the daily updates and pictures that showed Bailey having the time of her life romping and rolling with her furry friends. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her! There’s no one else better than Amanda to watch your pets. She truly is the best!
Our dog has stayed with Amanda multiple times now and our dog loves it there. He gets excited as soon as we turn into the driveway! It’s great that she has multiple dogs at a time because it becomes a social experience for the dogs to play together. She takes great care of the dogs in the heat with lots of time inside and puts out a baby pool for them to play in when they are outside. We appreciate her so much!

Schedule
I am a full time dog professional, so your dog won’t ever be unattended for long periods of time (if ever). Dogs are our priority from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to bed. Please also note that our drop off times are between the hours of 830am and 7pm and by scheduled appointment only- this allows us time to complete our morning routine the day of check in and ensure your pups are coming into a quiet and relaxed environment. Pick up times are more flexible, but we do not do any pick ups later than 9pm most nights and also need to be scheduled, thank you! Please note in the upcoming holiday season: I do not offer drop off or pick up times on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year’s Day) but we do offer boarding over those holidays! thank you for understanding!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard and can provide your dog with other doggy playmates, but I can also accommodate dogs who don’t enjoy other canine companions or only prefer humans. I have the ability to safely crate dogs who do best in crates, and separate everyone for naps/feeding etc. During times that I am unable to monitor our dogs, all of them are separated to ensure that all interactions are able to be regulated and safe (my dogs are crated at night and while I am gone).

A typical day
I wake up around 530/6am and begin getting breakfast ready for my dogs and doggy visitors, we then go outside to have our morning bathroom break and playtime. From there, dogs are in and out all day (outside longer when the weather is nice) and usually have bedtime around 10-11pm but can be later if needed, my husband and I are dog trainers and huge dog lover. I can never decide which breed is my favorite, it changes day to day. My husband has a working Malinois who loves to fetch, so he would be happy to keep his throwing arm moving all morning playing fetch with our boarders after he does his dogs “morning cardio”
