Dental student & Avid animal lover!
Having a dog and cat all my life has prepared me very well to take care of both dogs and cats! I’ve pet sat for family and friends various times back in Miami and want to continue to do so here in Illinois. I love how we can keep each other company especially since I’m away from home and would love the extra company! Right now, my own cat back home has diabetes, so I’m super comfortable giving insulin shots and handling meds if your pet needs them.I'm part of the PAWS Chicago fostering program, which has been such a rewarding experience. I joined because I was missing the companionship of animals and wanted to give back to the community by opening up my home to a cat in need. I’d love to adopt someday, but since I travel home often, fostering is the perfect way for me to help right now. I’m currently in dental school and away from my own pets, so spending time with yours would honestly be the best part of my day. I treat every animal like they’re family, whether it's snuggles on the couch, playtime, or making sure they stick to their routine. If you're looking for someone caring, responsible, and who truly loves animals, I’d be so happy to help out!

I have a cat litter and toys at hand (no cat) and a dog park area in the back of my apartment for walks and play!

Benji spent another week with Amanda and he loved it! He does have a little bit of separation anxiety, this was his second time, and he had no problem heading into her door and away from me. She is amazing, sends updates with pictures and cuddles with him on the couch. Best sitter ever!

Amanda did a wonderful job of taking care of Blue while we were away! It was clear blue was very happy and well cared for when we picked her up. Would definitely have Amanda watch blue again soon!

Amanda was just awesome. She provided frequent updates with pictures. This was the first time watching Benji, she asked questions about his routine and behaviors. I really appreciated that. They went on daily walks and Benji really enjoyed his stay! I am always nervous to leave him, but I was very comfortable with her. Thank you, Amanda, for taking such good care of Benji!!
I have never used Rover before, let a lone anyone sit my dogs they didn't know or board them. I was very nervous to do so while my fiancé and I were on vacation. Amanda and I spoke often prior to our booking which made me very comfortable leaving my babies with her. At the time of dropping them off to her, both of my dog's warmed up to her pretty quickly (does not happen often). While we were gone, she provided updates with picture's and great feedback. Both of our dog's needed special attention, and she did a great job! So great, that when we picked them up, I can tell my pups grew on to her as she did with them. Amanda, thank you so much for taking care of Yoshi and Lilah so well!

Schedule
I am in clinic Monday-Friday 8-4. Although that is my schedule I normally home for lunch around 11 and stay until 12:30. My day normally ends at 3ish Weekends are usually free unless I am traveling back home!
