Certified Fear Free® Pet Sitter! Cat care is my specialty! I own a six year old Bombay cat, who has special dietary needs, as well as a five year old Calico kitty, whom I feed, play with, take to vet appointments, bathe when needed, and spoil with many cuddles. I treat your pets like my own! I've helped take care of family pet dogs since I was able to walk. I had a Golden Retriever when I was growing up and would bathe, brush, feed, play with, and take her for walks regularly. I've also helped take care of my family pet Maltese, whom I cared for regularly and watched for my parents when they were away. I'd love to care for your dog as I have my own! At my own home, I spend plenty of time each day playing with my own cats, so I would be very comfortable playing with feather wands/ribbon/balls, etc. with your kitty! I also try to go on daily walks, and would love a canine friend to walk with! If there is a particular walk loop your dog routinely goes on in your neighborhood, please let me know and I will ensure we stick to your pup's routine.

I also offer house sitting services, which I typically stay the night at a client's home, care for the pet in the morning and head out for work at the shelter 12pm-6pm. I return in the evenings for dinner and stay at your home with your pets. As I have my own pets at home and often have additional drop-in requests/work at the shelter in the afternoons throughout a house sitting stay, I am unable to remain at a client's home 24/7 for house sitting requests but do stay the majority of my time at your home with your pets when I am not working at the shelter, checking on other clients, or at my house for a bit!

Schedule
I am flexible with my scheduling, but can also work with a set schedule too, if that is preferred. I pet sit part-time, and also work at the Fairfax County Animal Shelter M-F between 2-6pm. I can accommodate drop-in visits or dog walking early morning-12PM and 6:30-late evening throughout the work week. I can work with you to schedule house sitting requests as well on a case by case basis. On the weekends, I have much more availability throughout the entire day, and can accommodate drop-ins and dog walks at any time. Happy to work with whatever is best for your pets! :)

- I have a special interest in watching cats! I own two cats myself, and would love to help watch your younger or older kittens/cats. Cat watching comes more naturally to me, and I have experience watching multiple cats at once, as well as temperamental cats - I love a good challenge! :) I am open to watching all cat breeds, and most dog breeds. I have the most prior experience with Golden Retrievers, Malteses, Black Labs, and Beagles. I generally feel more comfortable around small/medium sized dog breeds.
