When watching your pet, I try to best match what their days are like when you're home. I love Rover because it greatly decreases the stress dogs feel when their owners are gone. They get individualized attention and get to keep their normal routine.

Information Amanda D. would like to know about your pet
I love all dogs, and have no breed preferences. I have worked with small dogs and toy breeds and have worked with and lived with Akbash, German Shepherds, pitbulls, and other larger breeds. I also have a soft spot for mutts, which is what two of my current family dogs are!
A typical day
We will play in the yard, go on walks around the neighborhood, or to a dog-safe park if there is a near one available and the dog enjoys it.

Pet care experience
I've lived with dogs my whole life, and have been pet sitting and walking dogs for over 20 years. I have worked at vet hospitals where I was responsible for bathing, walking, feeding, and medicating both dogs and cats so can handle any pets that require extra care. I also have a large amount of experience with horses and other exotic animals (bird, reptiles, rabbits, etc.). I also love to take pictures of animals, so you'll know how they're doing while they're with me! I currently have one well behaved English Shepherd, Killian who comes with me on overnight stays but is crate trained and can be separated or hang out with client dogs, depending on their needs. I am also a certified dog trainer so your pup will be in qualified hands and we can even work on obedience or fun tricks! I've been on Rover for over fifteen years, offer many services, and am willing to work with your needs. I will take great care of your best friend!

She did a great job! She sent tons of pics and was very considerate of my dogs anxiety/nervousness. He typically stays with family and this was his first time having a stranger stay with him, she was very understanding of that. I highly recommend!
Amanda was AMAZING with our Dexter! He is a puppy and we had never left him before. Amanda was incredible at making him feel loved and played with him at every visit....it was more than just stopping by to feed him and let him out. She sent us pictures after every visit and I honestly think he was smiling in the photos, it was hilarious! I would highly recommend her, she is reliable, truly cares about your fur baby and even taught him some puppy lessons! Absolutely love her!!
