Your dog might not want to leave us!!
I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and have always had dogs as part of my lige. Shaun, my partner is even more dog-mad than I am! He’ll happily choose hanging out with a dog over a person any day! We don’t currently have dogs of our own and really miss having little paws running around the house, so we love welcoming dogs into our home and giving them all the attention, cuddles, and care they deserve. We’re not professionals, just experienced dog owners who genuinely love being around dogs. I have a French Bulldog who now lives with my parents, so I know all about stubborn streaks, silly personalities, and breed quirks. My partner grew up with Staffies, so we’re very comfortable with strong characters, energetic dogs, and everything in between. Whether your dog is a cuddle-on-the-sofa type or needs a bit of extra patience and understanding, we’re happy to adapt, as much as we can, to their routine. Most importantly, we genuinely love dogs and treat every one in our care like part of the family, with plenty of love, playtime, and updates for you too!

This is our second time leaving Runa with Amanda and it’s been again, wonderful. Whenever she’s there I am confident she will be well looked after, loved and super spoiled. Amanda and her partner are incredibly attentive to everything that Runa needs and I know they do their very best to ensure she’s having a good time. Thank you Amanda for everything!
Amanda is seriously the best! She is so kind and welcoming and treats my little one as her own. I always feel confident she will be well looked after when leaving her in her care. Amanda also sends regular photos and updates. Cannot fault her service!
Amanda took amazing care of Rupert, and we couldn’t be happier. From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease leaving Rupert in her care. She’s kind, attentive, and clearly loves dogs, which really showed in how happy and relaxed Rupert was when we picked him up. She kept us updated, followed all our instructions, and made sure Rupert was well looked after the entire time. We’d absolutely love for Amanda to be Rupert’s regular pet sitter and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring. Thank you so much, Amanda!
Lovely lady looked after Hector our French bulldog like he was her own, he loved staying with them as he is a real diva at times , he’s on meds and struggles with eating at times so able to adapt to him and made him feel confident and comfortable booked again
Amanda was great. She kept us informed with regular updates even though we were overseas. Rosco settled in well he had lots of cuddles and we could see he was ok from the videos that were sent. We would definitely book Amanda again.
Amanda is a true dog lover -it was clear for the whole visit that she was looking after our dog beautifully, with real affection and care. Oscar had a great time , he has come back home happy and relaxed . Amanda sent us photos, updates and a video I will treasure . Thank you ☺️

Schedule
I work from home and have very flexible hours (just occasionally heading to the office, which, if my partner is not at home, will be a blocked day in our diary).

Our backyard has plenty of grass and sunshine throughout the day, perfect for a morning stretch and wee before we fo out for a walk!
A typical day
Morning walk is either before or after breakfast depending on dog’s routine. I’ll let them out them for toilet as needed between my meetings and, of course, will give them some fussing and cuddles. Late afternoon/evening, is dinner time and time for another walk.
