Safety, trust & environment
Safety is really important - dogs are never let off leash outside unless we are in an enclosed space such as a dog park (if owners are OK with it). We also have baby gates around the house to separate dogs from the front door as well.

Information Amanda C. would like to know about your pet
Any special needs or behaviors I need to know about, please let me know ahead of time (issues with other breeds, separation anxiety, resource guarding, etc) In addition my dog does not do well with high energy dogs so any dog with low to moderate energy would be a good fit. If cat sitting, cat needs to be ok with a small dog in the house. Pets roam free in our home but if for any reason your pet needs to be crated, happy to accomodate!
A typical day
Dogs need physical and mental stimulation!! I live a minute walk away from a dog park and have lots of treat puzzles your dog can play with :) and lots of pets of course! We will go on walks multiple times a day.

Pet care experience
All pets deserve a safe and nurturing space so that they can live happily & comfortably! Your pup will get to go for 4 walks a day with boarding & 2 walks with daycare. Your pets are allowed on our furniture and can roam free around our house so they can be as comfortable as they are at home. In addition, we have plenty of toys and treat puzzles for enrichment activities.
Reviews

We needed an overnight stay for our dog while we were out of town. One of our regular dog sitters had moved, and the other one we like was unavailable. Based on the reviews, I decided to contact Amanda, and I’m glad I did. Amanda was easy to work with and provided excellent care for our dog. She mentioned that he was a bit anxious during his stay, but she was patient, attentive, and took great care of him, which we really appreciated.
Amanda is wonderful! Was able to accommodate my last minute request and was very communicative all day. I got tons of photos from her too. She took great care of my baby. Thank you Amanda!

Amanda was wonderful and took great care of our girl! She sent lots of updates and pictures and allowed for us to be worry-free on our weekend away!

We had a great experience with Amanda. She was reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. I loved the regular updates and photos/videos, and it was obvious Duke was well looked after and safe — and it made being away much easier. We are absolutely booking with her again and highly recommend her to others.
