Hello, I am writing this on behalf of Amanda Castle. I am the former Animal Control Officer for the Brattleboro vt police department so it’s safe to say I know a thing or two about animals and how people treat them. Amanda without a doubt has a gift when it comes to all those of the fur variety. I’ve seen on many occasions how animals react to her presence and she is always the first one greeted with a tail wag and kisses or a gentle purr. She is patient, observant of their behaviors and needs and incredibly kind and I know from professional encounters with her that she will go above, beyond and to the moon to make sure they are safe and properly cared for. On one specific occasion she was on her lunch break from work and found a lost dog roaming alone in the pouring rain. She immediately contacted me and brought the pup to me. I was able to quickly locate where the dog lived and she joined me in the very emotional return of the beloved dog to its owners. Amanda would be the perfect candidate for this opportunity, she is simply one of a kind. Thank you.
