I have worked in the animal care setting for 10 years. 2 years were in a shelter setting and 8 were as a Veterinary Assistant. I have also done pet sitting for about 8 years. I have ample experience working with pets both with and without medical issues and am comfortable administering medications and basic wound care (as prescribed or recommended by the pet's veterinarian). I have experience with basic behavioral assessment. I am confident working with all life stages and types of pets.

I take my cues from the client in how the pet is most comfortable in their home. I try to make the transition as easy as possible and not disturb the pet's daily routine to minimize stress and confusion. I provide the type of attention and affection that the pet is most comfortable with as well as trying to keep feeding, walking, and potty schedules as normal as possible.

Amanda is very kind and professional. Our animals loved her immediately which is hard for my little doxi-mix. Very easy to work with and communication was great with her. I would recommend her and will use her again!
Mandy is my go-to pet sitter every time I travel. She is very attentive and reliable. My cats and dogs love Mandy and enjoy seeing her every time she comes to visit.
Mandy has been sitting my family’s pets for over 10 years. She is amazing with our cats when we go out of town and even trims their nails (which they won’t let me do). She is responsible and dedicated to providing great service, I would recommend her to anyone!
Amanda is extremely good with all types of animals. She has pets of her own and they are all very happy and healthy. She has worked in an animal health care environment in the past and is very knowledgeable about administering medication and gauging an animals well being by observation. I would entrust any animal I owned to her care.

Schedule
I work from home so I get to spend all day with my cats. I feel like they provide more entertainment for me than any other source. I also routinely pet sit for friends and acquaintances.
