My fiancé and I actually want to eventually open up our own, full time dog boarding at some point. I believe that every dog deserves love, attention, and care, which is why I strive to provide the best possible care for all the furry friends I look after. I understand that each dog has their own unique personality and needs, and I make it my priority to cater to those individual needs to ensure they are happy and comfortable while their owners are away. Especially the super shy ones/hesitant ones. Whether it's going for walks, playing in the backyard, or just cuddling on the couch, I love spending quality time with pups and forming special bonds with them. I am reliable, responsible, and dedicated to providing exceptional care for your beloved pup. Rest assured, your dog will be in good hands with me as their sitter. We are so thankful to have found Amanda C. to watch Sassy, the little doggy we love. Amanda gave Sassy lots of love, care, fun and and room to run. Amanda's cat and Sassy are now best friends! She sent pictures and videos that made us laugh. It was easy to relax and know that Sassy was receiving the highest quality of attention and care. In my home or in a client's home, I provide personalized care for each pet based on their individual needs and preferences. I always ask the owners what they prefer/want for their pet so I can meet all expectations. Here are some of the ways I ensure the well-being and happiness of the pets under my care: 1. Feeding: I follow the pet owner's instructions regarding feeding schedules, portion sizes, and dietary restrictions. I make sure to provide fresh water at all times and ensure that the pet's food and water bowls are clean. 2. Exercise: I engage pets in regular exercise and playtime to keep them physically active and mentally stimulated. This may include walks, play sessions, or outdoor activities in a secure and safe environment. An exercised pup is always a well-behaved pup ☺️ (that’s the trick) 3. Medication: If the pet requires medication, I am experienced in administering oral medications, topical treatments, or injections as per the veterinarian's instructions. Overall, I prioritize the well-being and happiness of the pets in my care, and I strive to create a loving and nurturing environment for them to thrive in. I treat each pet as if they were my own, and I am committed to providing the best possible care for them while their owners are away.
A typical day
Definitely lots of walks! The Independence Square is an awesome place to walk around. Theres also quite a few parks near by to go play and get some exercise in.
