I totally get that a new person can be weird at first in a pet’s home! I like to allow animals to get a read on the situation by letting them approach me. Gently working up to feeling comfortable enough to play, walk and relax with me is my top priority and I understand it can’t be rushed. I also like to keep them used to their routine and environment as it usually is; cleanliness and a calming environment is important to me when it comes to your house and pets.

Animals being able to explore their curiosity is awesome, whether it’s playing with their favorite toy or taking a long walk during which they can sniff to their hearts content. Fun activities depend on the animal, whatever is engaging for them you can depend on me to provide.

I’m an experienced sitter for animals of all kinds. Friends, neighbors and clients have relied on me in the past to care for their pets and homes. I adapt easily and am glad to help pet parents feel relaxed about their animals while they’re away from home. I make sure to give them extra attention and play time. I’ve worked as a dog handler and trainer in the past and got to know many different breeds and personality types. I understand doggie body language and can get a good read on what they need. I can administer medications, and special needs can be accommodated for however needed. I’d love to cater to your pets unique needs to support them the best way I can.

This was my first time using Rover and it did not disappoint. We found an amazing dog sitter in Amanda. She took care of our 3 frenchies. She was caring, sent pictures of them playing each day with an update. We asked if she could water our garden and she kept the house in order while we were away. She was fantastic and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 5 stars!
