Creating a home away from home
I have worked with and have loved animals my entire life. In the past 4 years I have begun training a service dog and volunteering at shelters to work with dogs that need all of the extra love and attention. I have experience with reactive dogs, large dogs, small dogs, cats, fish, birds and reptiles (only some). I love to take my dogs hiking and play with all of their toys along with enrichment activities such as snuffle mats, licki mats and bowls. I treat my animals as if they are a part of my family and I will treat yours with the same love and respect.

This is the first time we left our dog with anyone except for family and it felt great seeing how well taken care she was by Amanda. We loved our dog getting to stay in her own environment and we really appreciated the great communication Amanda had with us.
Amanda does a great job with our dog Georgia. We know she’s in good hands when we are away. Our dog takes meds and is on a schedule due to her medical issues and we never have to worry when Amanda is watching her.
Amanda was awesome with my high maintenance mastiff! She keeps me informed on how my dog is doing and she sends lots of pictures. When I had to book extra visits last minute due to my mother’s death, she didn’t hesitate to help me.
I was very comfortable with leaving Rodger with Amanda. She was good at sending me pictures of Rodger and communication was good. I wouldn't have a problem leaving Rodger with Amanda again. She took very good care of Rodger. Thank you Amanda.
Amanda went above and beyond to take care of Willie. He's afraid of thunderstorms and she came back a couple hours after the storm ended to ensure that he was able to be comfortable while I was gone!
Amanda did a great job of dropping in to check on my girl while my family was away for the holidays! Kept me updated and Meeka always looked happy!

I currently work from home full time and have a very flexible and available schedule that allows me the extra time to love and care for pets.

Safety, trust & environment
When a pet is in my home they will be allowed on the furniture, they will be walked and played with the appropriate number of times a day. I will follow instructions precisely that are provided by the owner. I will also send check in photos if requested and updates throughout their time in my care. When in a client's home, I will follow the instructions provided, make sure things are cleaned up if there is a mess, communicate with the owner on how their pet is doing and also be sure to stay and socialize/interact with the pet for an appropriate amount of time.
