I have been caring for pets for over a decade, and it has been incredibly rewarding work. I have experience at doggy daycare/boarding facilities, a cattery, and as a private dog walker/pet sitter. I am certified in Pet CPR & Emergency First Aid. I can also provide grooming services such as baths, ear cleaning and nail trims. Over the years, I've learned that it takes a special kind of energy to positively interact with our beloved pets. I pride myself in maintaining a calm and loving energy to make your pet feel like they are being cared for by a friend and not a stranger. As the proud pet parent to 11 year-old Italian Greyhound, Stella, and 10 year-old Chihuahua mix, Violet, I know that the peace of mind from a reliable pet sitter is priceless. I look forward to working with you and providing the quality care that your pet deserves!

Amanda was so great! She was really good with my crazy puppy and paid attention to my senior cat who usually keeps to herself. Amanda even went above and beyond and trimmed my pups nails a bit because she noticed they were long. Would definitely trust her to watch my animals again!
Amanda was awesome! I had never used Rover before and she made me feel completely confident that she would take great care of our 2 Sheepadoodles. She stayed at our house with our 2 pups for a couple days, she walked them, sent us updates w/ pictures, and the house was just as we left it…everything clean etc. I didn’t feel like I had to worry at all about how the pups were doing. She took great care of them. We will be booking Amanda again.

Schedule
I am a Special Education Aide at a K-8 school. My evenings, weekends, summers and holiday breaks are open. I am free to help care for your pets during these times.

A typical day with your pet will involve dedication, patience, calm energy, exercise and play in accordance with your pet's needs. I will work to keep to their regular routine as closely as possible because I believe that consistency creates calmness.
