Doggy Day Care • Jul 28, 2024

We dropped off our 2 Shih-Poo’s with Amanda while we spent the afternoon at the Museum of Space & Nature. She did a great job caring for our pups and we would definitely leave them with her again.

Amanda is a pet lover! She has cared for my dogs in the past, and I have seen the care and attention she gives her own pets firsthand. She's never met a dog she didn't like!

Amanda is our favorite pet sitter! She always takes wonderful care of my 16 lb terrier/corgi mix, Sadie. Amanda is attentive, patient, high energy and playful with my pup and I can always trust that she is on top of necessary special needs or requests for any particular stay. I found her home to be tidy and pet friendly and she is very responsive in her correspondence and keeps me week updated with lots of pics and videos. Sadie and I can’t recommend Amanda enough!

Amanda is an amazing dog sitter!! Very flexible, communicative, and reliable. She stayed with my pup during her first 4th of July while I worked and provided all the love and care that she needed during the fireworks. 10/10!

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a large apartment and have a 7 year old chihuahua mix, Peanut. I have a large, fenced in outdoor balcony that gets both sun and shade. I keep a wee wee pad in the bathroom for Peanut, and there is a constant supply of fresh water. When we’re not home, Peanut is free to roam the non-carpeted main apartment living space (bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room). Your dog can stay out with Peanut, or they can use a crate if that’s what you prefer. Dogs receive a small treat following a walk, please let me know if your dog has allergies or if you prefer to opt out of a treat. I like keeping your pup in their schedule as much as possible, and will align walks and feedings to their typical routine. If you booked a bath, I will default to giving the bath at the end of their stay, before they come home. I use oatmeal-based moisturizing shampoo and will follow the bath with a mist of doggy perfume. We also all know some dogs love to roll around in grass (and some other more yucky things). When this occurs, as determined by my own discretion, I may need to give your dog a bath, even if this is not a requested service. In this case, the bath would be free of charge. Please let me know if your dog has any skin conditions or if they use a special shampoo. I LOVE big dogs, and so does Peanut! Unfortunately, given the size of my apartment, I can't board dogs above 40lbs at this time, but I would be happy to walk them or check in on them at your place! To ensure I am fully prepared to care for and love on your pup, please note that for some services for new clients I will only approve the request if we are able to schedule a meet-up in advance to meet you and your dog, introduce your dog and Peanut, and/or receive a tour of your place and learn your dog's routine.
