We love trees, trails & adventure!
I have been taking care of dogs, cats, chickens, and horses since I was a young kid. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian and attended a University in California with that goal in mind. As much as I enjoyed the Animal Science courses and internships in the Radiology Department, I decided working with kids was more my thing! But I still have a deep love of animals :) I moved to Colorado and now work on an organic farm and love it! I have worked with elderly dogs who need either oral medication or shots, dogs that are blind and need special care navigating the house, to active pups who love to go on morning runs! I am a dog lover and haven't gone a year without having a pet as part of the family. Pets are family and I believe they deserve the best care while their loved ones are away. Let me spend that time with your special pup and we will have many adventures!

We were thrilled to have our pup stay with Amanda in Crested Butte! She was easy to communicate with both in booking and throughout the weekend. We received lots of photos of our pup and text updates about what they were up to. This was our first time using Rover and we had a wonderful experience with Amanda. I would highly recommend her. Amanda was incredible with our Bernie! I would highly recommend her to anyone living in Crested Butte or traveling there, as we did. We attended a destination wedding and Amanda watched Bernie during the wedding. She took him hiking and captured some amazing photos! Thanks, Amanda!
Amanda is wonderful when it comes to dogs! She takes care of her own pup with love, hugs, and exercise! Amanda is very conscientious when it comes to dog safety as well, always keeping the dogs she's watching on leash and being mindful of their whereabouts while in the fenced in yard. She's also willing to take the pups on a run, a trail hike, or even a swim at the beach. Above all else, she keeps the dogs safe and gives them lots of love!
