My rule is to leave any environment the same or better as when I came in. I am good at communicating, as I have done this for a very long time. I have some questions I like to ask before caring for a pet such as any sensitivities (maybe food, sound, etc.), or if there are any things to avoid when going on a walk, for example.

I am happy to accommodate dogs that need some help on a leash still, and those who walk well-mannered. I do ask that they are not aggressive towards other animals or people though please!
A typical day
If booked for a walk, go to a nearby park, or if okay with pet parent, go to a trail that is close for some new scenery! As the temperature rises I am always aware that your pup will be safe, not walking on hot concrete, drinking plenty of water, and taking breaks as needed!

Pet care experience
I was a pre-vet student for my undergraduate degree at Penn State, ultimately not in field anymore but miss being around animals 24/7! I have taken care of everything from hamsters to chickens to sharks at aquariums all over the US. I’ve worked at a number of shelters, and zoos/aquariums for experience, and can provide character references if needed. Personally, I have had goldens my whole life and have a big soft spot for goldens and labs, but I’m a cat person as well!

As usual Amanda is amazing with out cats and honestly us 😂 she keeps us informed and free of extra separation anxiety. Would recommend Amanda to anyone. As would Lou and Mac. Rory not so much but he hates everyone so the fact he tolerates Amanda says a lot.

Amanda is fabulous as usual. 100% trust her with my cats. She goes above and beyond to make them feel comfortable around her and always makes sure I’m up to date and comfortable in the knowledge they are getting cared for while I’m absent.
