Safety, trust & environment
I am happy to do whatever is needed to make your pets feel comfortable in their home! I am happy to crate them or share a bed at night. I can spend as much time at home with them as needed outside of my working hours. We can go for walks, go to the park, play with a favorite toy, or just snuggle up on the couch.
Information Amanda B. would like to know about your pet
If you have a fearful or shy dog or cat, I would love to have the opportunity to meet them while their family is around so they can get used to me. Also, if any medications, grooming, or other things are required, please let me know ahead of time so I can ask any questions on my end to ensure your pet receives the best care.
A typical day
I like to be adaptable to your pets needs! We can go for walks or play outside to burn off energy, or find brain games to play indoors if the weather isn't cooperative. We can snuggle together or enjoy each other's company from across the room.

Medical & special needs experience
Pet care experience
I have had cats and dogs my entire life, and currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own. I've cared for dogs ranging from 8 weeks old through the late teen years. In addition to my permanent residents, I have fostered cats for many years and I just surpassed 100 fosters in 2024! I have experience with feral and fearful cats as well as pregnant and nursing cats. I have extensive, experience with epilepsy, diabetes, heart conditions, and other various medical needs, and am skilled with both oral and injectable medication for cats and dogs. If your pets need meds, I can guarantee they will get them! I would love the opportunity to get to know your critter! If you have any other questions, please reach out!

Reviews

No complaints!

Amanda was fantastic! We’re very picky and protective about our pets and she did a fantastic job taking care of our boys and keeping us updated while we were away.

Amanda is great and took great care of our baby!

Our review mirrors those before us. Amanda went above and beyond, and we have a very special case. Clear and consistent communication with us, responsive care of our rescue pup, and even a bit of humor (Go Bobcats!). We've had many Rover caretakers who we have invited again, but Amanda is at the top of our list after this visit (please don't book her we want her).
