A typical day of fun activities with dogs or cats would include plenty of engaging and tailored moments to make them happy and comfortable. For dogs, the day might start with a brisk morning walk or a fun game of fetch to burn off energy, followed by breakfast and some cuddle time. Midday could include another walk or an outing to a dog-friendly park where they can explore, sniff, and interact. We might play interactive games like tug-of-war or practice basic training commands to keep their minds sharp. Evenings are perfect for a relaxed stroll and some quiet time to wind down. For cats, the day could start with breakfast and some one-on-one playtime with their favorite toys, like feather wands or laser pointers. I’d ensure they have opportunities to climb, scratch, and explore to keep them stimulated. Throughout the day, I’d offer plenty of affection, brushing if needed, and respect their need for rest. Interactive puzzles or treat dispensers could make snack time exciting. Hello! My name is Amanda, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with extensive experience caring for pets of all kinds. As a mom of four, I’ve had the joy of raising and caring for a wide variety of animals, including cats, dogs, parakeets, lizards, frogs, turtles, fish, and more. Currently, I share my home with two beautiful long-haired sister cats, but I deeply miss having a dog in my life. My passion for animals has led me to volunteer with organizations like MaxFund, where I served for four years, including as the Channel 4 Pet of the Week volunteer. Additionally, I’ve contributed to numerous animal organizations in Denver by supporting their special events. These experiences have deepened my understanding of animal behavior and care, and they’ve given me the skills to handle a wide range of pet needs.
