Love all animals, big and small!
I've been pet sitting for friends and family for years and love it, so I've made it formal through Rover. I'm reliable, organized, and genuinely enjoy caring for animals. I have a background working with dogs, cats, small animals, and exotics (frogs, ferrets, birds, hamsters, mice, and more). Red Cross Pet First Aid certified as of 6/13/26. My own cat, Juniper, is part of the household, so I'm practiced at multi-pet dynamics, including with both cats and dogs. I have a large fenced yard and flexible space to accommodate different comfort levels between animals.

Amanda has watched our cats many times over the decade that I've known her. She always puts in the effort to spend extra time with our more social cat, as well as find our more timid cat to make sure she's ok (and even try to win her affection with treats, which may eventually work). One of our cats requires medication, and Amanda has always stepped up to administer whatever is needed whether it's eyedrops or pills. Beyond our own cat-sitting needs, I've seen Amanda's love for animals first-hand with her own pets as well as wild animals. She is someone I come back to again and again for pet-sitting needs, and recommend her to anyone I know.
Amanda’s fab! We trust her completely with our pup Bailey. She’s attentive, keeps us updated while we’re away and has always handled his meds without any issues when he needs them. Bailey’s full of tail wiggles when he sees Amanda and always comes back a happy boy!

Schedule
Pet sitting fits naturally into my life. I work full-time but I'm selective about bookings and plan in advance. I typically board one family at a time and keep concurrent bookings minimal (2 pets max) so I can give full attention. I have a standing commitment Wednesday evenings in the Fall and Spring for only a couple hours and work around it when needed. Saturdays vary week to week, and I'm flexible about drop-in visits around my schedule, but will confirm with pet parents in advance. The key is advance planning. I ask for at least a week's notice whenever possible so both of us can prepare. I turn down bookings if there's a genuine conflict that week rather than overcommit.

In my home (boarding): I have a large fenced yard, climate-controlled space, and the ability to section off areas if animals need separation for comfort. My own cat, Juniper, is here, so I manage multi-pet dynamics carefully. I watch for stress signals and adjust setup as needed. Routines are consistent (feeding times, potty breaks, exercise), and I monitor behavior closely for anything unusual. I'll provide updates and photos to set your mind at ease while you're away from your pet. In your home (drop-ins): I'll follow your instructions—feeding schedules, medication, play preferences, access restrictions. I'll check in, take photos/notes for updates, and flag any concerns immediately. Always: Red Cross Pet First Aid certified. If something feels off such as a behavior change, health concern, stress, I share as soon as I notice. As a pet owner myself, I treat you and your pet like I'd want someone treating me and mine.
