I started Rover as a college student with a pretty open schedule. Now I have a full time job from M-F, 7am-3pm. Due to this, I can only accommodate bookings that fall on weekends, or bookings where the pets are used to their owners leaving for work for 8 hours.

Safety, trust & environment

No matter what serivce I'm providing I will make sure they (the pets) get enough potty breaks, exercise regularly, are hydrated and healthy, and have a great fun time! We can even try some simple training to keep them alert and happy for treats. I am also really good with anxious or hyper pets. I've been told I'm good at reassuring them and keeping them calm while their parents are away.

Information Amanda B. would like to know about your pet

Please, let me know if your babies do or do not like other animals, are aggressive towards street cats, squirrels, people, or even skateboards. Have lease or food aggression. Please, let me know if they have any allergies, pollen, and food-wise. Or of other animals because I'd need to deep wash my clothes. If they have special needs, like being nearly blind or deaf, or need medication. Do they have certain anxieties, like taking baths, thunder, loud noises, having their nails clipped, having people touch them somewhere or even separation anxiety? If they do, how do they deal with stress? Do they shut down and refuse food, pee everywhere, scratch and bite themselves, etc. Please kindly let me know in advance, so I know the best way to care for them.

A typical day

We will play fetch, runabout, check out the new smells, try some simple tricks. When they get tuckered out we can lay under a tree and rehydrate and get belly rubs. Meet other dogs if they like other animals or people. I will probably do a mini photoshoot with them because I love taking cute photos.

Pet care experience

Hello! I've cared for dogs, exotic birds, cats, squirrels, sugar gliders, and even chickens. I am comfortable caring for special needs animals, older animals and some* babies, and administering medications. I have experience with service dogs and I'm happy caring for Chihuahuas all the way up to Great Danes. ---> □ All of my prices are flexible. Rover has me put in a value per animal which can get expensive so definitely talk to me and we can work something out! I have a 20% off promo code for first time users. ☆ I can also wash and dry most animals, trim cats, birds, and dogs' nails, and properly clip a bird's wings so they cannot fly away or over fences(chickens). This includes trimming some* small animals nails. These activites really depend on your pet and if I can safely do it. I cannot give cute haircuts as I'm not a groomer. ☆ I am also experienced in basic dog training if you need help calming your pet, so they stop jumping on people or potty training. For the training to take effect, however, I'd need more than a one-time visit with. Recurring walks are okay, but if you have issues you want me to address when they are inside the house, my walks won't be able to target the behavior.]

Amanda has cat sat my two girls a few times. She has won them over to the point of snuggles. Will be booking her again.

Amanda was very attentive and responsive. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her. She cared for him like one of her own and understood his needs as an anxious, senior pup. We will definitely use Amanda again!

Amanda was great with our cats. We couldn't be happier with the job she did!
