I'm home most of the time and have plenty of time to devote to your pups needs. When they are under my care, they are cared for as if they are my own. Everyone gets lots of love and individual attention.

I have a 1 1/3 acres fenced in yard (4ft high, chain link). I have 5 of my own Labrador Retrievers that depending on the individual dog, your pup may get to play with. Social interactions are never forced, and not every dog has to play with them. All dogs get crated at night, when rotating dogs outside who may not be dog social, or if I need to leave the house for safety. All care is focused on what the individual dog needs to feel comfortable and happy. I often do not do doggy introductions on the first day of boarding depending on the individual dog. Safety is my number one priority while ensuring your dog is as happy and comfortable as possible. If in doubt, I'd rather be safe than sorry. I also have chickens, ducks, and turkeys that all dogs are supervised around.

It is important to note if the dogs have any special needs ahead of their stay. Including needing individual play time/walks, taking meds, allergies, health concerns, if they're afraid of thunder (especially during monsoon season) if the dog is fixed or not......... The more information the better. While I do not require every dog to be crate trained, it will make they're stay a lot easier on them. I will absolutely do my best to accommodate those who are not crate trained as long as they do not pose a risk to themselves.
A typical day
The average day would depend on the dog and their individual needs. For a high energy dog friendly dog, they could expect plenty of play time in the yard with my dogs . All playtime being supervised of course, and then plenty of naps in between. For dogs who may not be comfortable being mixed with my dogs, they would get individual attention and walks to help meet their needs. NOTE: Not every dog will get mixed with my dogs depending on their individual needs and comfort level. Playing with my dogs is never required. My goal is to make sure every dogs stays safe and happy.

I've always been interested in animals, and I'm constantly expanding on my knowledge. I have experience in dog boarding, as well as some grooming. I have met, and cared for various types of dogs with varying needs.

Amanda was great with our pups! She spent time outside with them and shared photos with us. They got to run around and enjoy sunshine just like they do at home. We will definitely take them back the next time we leave town.
Amanda is amazing! Our Cane Corso, Kane, loves it there.
Amanda is always amazing with our big guy Kane. He's a very large dog, however Amanda has great control over him, and he absolutely loves her. She's accommodating of short notice bookings, provides much appreciated pics throughout Kane's visit, and makes sure we have a good debrief at pick up on how things went. We're so glad we found her and for her commitment to caring for our 4-legged friends.
Amanda is great with my pittie. She is super reliable and always on time to walk Daisy. I never have to worry about a thing.
