Updated: 5/17/25 Hello friends! It is May and my final semester at Arapahoe Community College has come to an end. I am happy to say I will be receiving a degree in Commercial Photography and beginning my new career as a pet and wildlife photographer! I am so excited and happy to embark on this new journey. But don't worry pet parents, this will not hinder me from providing full-time pet care! Since I have started pet sitting and sending fun pet pictures to parents and taking nature photos along dog walks, the idea to go back to school to improve my skills with professional gear came to mind. Since then, I wanted to incorporate professional photography into my pet care business. As a sitter, there are many fun moments I have with pets that I want to capture and share with their families for lifelong memories. I also plan to bring in home photo sessions to families with pets, so pets are comfortable for family photos or small pet events like birthdays, etc. I will share my photography information during meet and greets but please feel free to reach out here with questions if you are interested. But for now I am just excited to be done with classes and back to providing full time pet care. I am once again available for daily dog walks and daycare services throughout the week M-F from 7am - 7pm. I will work with parents who may need weekend walks and daycare due to emergencies or work schedules. House sittings and drop ins are always available and flexible throughout the week and depending on my availability. With that said be advised my June and July is completely booked for overnight stays but I still have some availability for August and September and plenty for the holiday season for those who want to start making early holiday reservations. I look forward to a fun summer with all my animal friends!

The goal is to make sure your pet remains comfortable and safe to make traveling for families a breeze.

Any information you can provide on your pets profile about your their behavior, diet, routines, training, medication, vet, etc., would be greatly appreciated. It's better to be extra safe than sorry! Of course, all of this will be shared at our meet and greet but I just like to have as much information ahead of time to make sure I meet all of your requirements. Thank you!
A typical day
Typically, Monday through Friday, I have my daily dog walks scheduled from 10am to 3pm. If weather and location is ideal, I love to take the pups on walks in public parks or along the many trails CO has to offer. I can take pups to dog parks IF pups are well behaved and social with other dogs. Pups scheduled to walk with me will always be on leash and away from other people and dogs, even if your pup is friendly. Unfortunately, not everyone gets along so I will avoid others to ensure a safe walk for everyone. If a park or trail isn't near by then we will take a leisurely walk around your neighborhood. If your pup don't do well out on walks then we can always enjoy some playtime in the yard!

Updated: 3/14/26 Welcome pets and parents, thank you for visiting my profile! I look forward another year working with new friends and appreciate continuing clients. For those who are new, I am Miss Amanda, a full-time pet sitter in Littleton, CO. I have been pet sitting professionally since 2017 but grew up caring for pets of my own. I love all animals and welcome all types of species, so if you have pets other than dogs and cats such as insects, reptiles, rodents (respectfully), small farm animals, etc., you're in the right place! It's my goal to provide services to parents/guardians who care for exotic, special needs and senior pets. This past year, I have included plant care to my list of services for my fellow plant owners because I believe plants are living beings that need just as much love and attention. So for those of you who don't have pet's but lots of plants, I got you covered! 😉👍 It is my goal to ensure pets remain in a comfortable and most importantly safe environment when families have to leave for work, school, and trips so there is no better place to stay than home. I believe keeping our pet's and plants in a home environment contributes to their health by staying in a place that is well cleansed, maintaining their daily needs, and keeping routines that they are used to to thrive. They don't have to stress about acclimating to unknown places and other unfamiliar pets, they also have better medication management (if required), access to own equipment/toys, proper one on one care (especially for disabled pets), and less exposure to other illnesses. I also aim to help pet parents who are in sudden need of pet care due to unexpected injuries, age, or other emergency situations that may pop up. Whatever the case maybe I am here to help! Amanda was great! She communicated about her timing and dealt with the construction going on in my house like it was no big deal! She also had to deal with our dog who is not a fan of the construction at all!
