I grew up with hounds, have cared for anxious rescues, seniors with meds, and leash-reactive dogs — so I know how important it is to earn their trust and stick to what works. I bring patience, structure, and a big heart to every visit or walk.

I care for pets in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s routine closely — from feeding schedules to walk times to quirky bedtime rituals — because I know consistency helps reduce stress when their favorite humans are away. I make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean space, and plenty of attention (or space, if that’s what they prefer). I’m gentle, observant, and always attuned to changes in behavior or mood. I treat your home with the same respect I give your pet — clean, quiet, and safe. And of course, I send regular updates so you can see how your furry family is doing.

Amanda did a wonderful job checking in on my 2 cats for about a week. She was sure to send detailed notes and many pictures each day. One of my cats tends to eat really fast so she ensured to spread out the food and even split up the serving as needed. Amanda also graciously brought in some packages I don’t anticipate getting delivered. I will definitely be rebooking for future care.

Outside of my 9-5, pet care is one of my favorite ways to spend time. While I work full-time during the week, I set aside non-work hours and weekends to care for animals because it brings me genuine joy — whether that’s walking a high-energy pup, checking in on a shy cat, or just hanging out with a senior dog who wants company. It’s a fulfilling hobby that lets me recharge while making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for in their owners’ absence.
