Availability
I take my dog with me on long hikes with a backpack (rucks), my 2 mile run, or a slow walk at least once a week, as well as throwing the ball outside for her and/or walks around the block every day. I understand that energetic pups need a lot of exercise to avoid negative coping behaviors!

My house is very pet friendly, we have two cats and my Golden Retriever, Nola. She is not allowed on furniture, but when humans get on the ground, it's super snuggle time! she gets brushed every few days and feeding times are a ritual instead of constant food being out. However, I know everyone cares for their pets differently so when I visit someone's home, I never turn down a pup in my lap for kisses and I'm comfortable giving medicines or special treatments/attention to animals who need it.
Information Amanda B. would like to know about your pet
Friendliness with strangers and children, behavior in the home with visitors, interactions with other dogs, health concerns, and flight/bite risk. Knowing what to expect in advance will help a new caretaker better equipped to handle situations with your pup.
A typical day
I love to run with dogs so if you have a high energy pup I'll gladly take them for a trot! Activities are always tailored to the needs and abilities of the pup I'm watching, but I like to encourage good manners in all things, and reward with treats and cuddles!

Pet care experience
I've had dogs in the house since before I can remember, and as I got older I helped my dad train each of them. After caring for his personal dog for over a year in 2017, I found my own dog (Nola- a Golden) and trained her myself. She's now the perfect family dog, hiking partner, and home security system. My experience has led me to become a firm, fair, and consistent handler, making walks with me a calm and enjoyable treat for pups! I leave homes better than I found them and give lots of loves during drop-ins! I am trained in MWD/K9 first aid and resuscitation through the Army.

Reviews
Like usual amanda did an amazing job. Everything thing done just like we like. She also remembers our pups needs. Its awsome to have her as out pet sitter. We go on trips and never worry about our babies.
We trust amanda with our puppies and our home she is like family too us. I

Amanda took amazing care of all my furballs and kept me updated with detailed reports and pics. She was great at communicating and very professional- I look forward to working together again!
Amanda went above and beyond when it came to my elderly dogs. Without hesitation she cleaned up one of my pups after an accident. She was on time and was also available almost last minute. I’m very grateful for Amanda and will be using her again in the future.
