I currently don’t have any pets of my own so am that much more enthusiastic about engaging with yours! I’ve pet and house-sat intermittently over the last 10 years and have also worked as a live-in caregiver, so I understand how important it is to be reliable and how to care for both animals and humans. I’ve always had a deep love for taking care of and learning about animals. Growing up, I helped my mom care for our beloved cats, ensuring they were well-fed, their litter boxes clean, and they had ample playtime. I helped raise and care fore them from the early stages of kittenhood to their adult years. I also enjoy caring for all types of dogs, ranging from dachshunds to great dane mixes. Over the years, I’ve been entrusted by friends, family members, and even friends-of-friends to walk, feed, and provide comprehensive care for their precious fur babies, including scaly and feathered companions. From cats, dogs, birds, fish, and lizards to turtles, I have had the pleasure of caring for pets in their own homes while their owners were away for various lengths of time, ranging from short getaways to extended trips lasting months. During these periods, my priority has always been to ensure the animals are as happy as possible (as they do tend to miss their owners) while maintaining their regular routines as closely as possible. Beyond basic care, I’m experienced in administering medications and I love spending quality time with these wonderful creatures.
