I have taken care of puppies all the way to seniors dogs in their golden years. I also have experience taking care of dogs with special needs. I have owned some amazing dogs of my own for over 22 years. Right now I have 4 whom I love so very much. I am certified in cat/dog CPR/First Aid. ***all dogs that board or do doggy daycare MUST be fully potty trained, vaccinated (please provide proof prior to boarding) and be a minumim of 6 months old**** In my family, our dogs are also family members. All four of my dogs are rescues. Each one of them needed to go to a loving home and I feel blessed to be able to offer them the TLC they deserve. I have always had a soft spot for animals of any kind. My very first pet experience was our cat, Smokey Joe that we took in when I was 6. From there I have had hamsters, a bunny rabbit, guinea pigs, cats and dogs. I truly feel animals are little gifts to us. Dog sitting is my only job, I do not consider it a "job" though because I love what I do. I accept dogs after 7:30 a.m. I prefer to board at my house weekdays and/or weekends but I can do drop in visits and dog walks on weekdays and weekends. Meet and greets are limited to 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and between 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Meet and greets are conducted outside so that I can really focus on your dog without interruptions. Please be sure to keep me updated if you are running late for meet and greet or drop off/pick up. There is an extended fee for late pickups. Thank you for trusting me with your love(s). I can feed, give water and play with your fur babies at your home or mine. I can also take your fur babies on much needed walks. Our yard is completely fenced providing a safe area for your fur baby to run around. Whether basking in the sun or laying down inside on the cool floors is your dog's preference they will be comfortable and safe. We also use eco-friendly cleaning and disinfecting products in the home that won't harm the humans or the fur babies. I love taking care of older dogs too and have experience adminstering medication. No Pitbulls/pitbull mixes please.

Amanda is very patient with our little ball of nervous energy. I am a first time dog owner, and Amanda has been very helpful with offering good advice and setting my mind at ease. Our puppy is very high maintenance, and Amanda has been very patient and kind to him. We are very grateful.
Amanda was great. She sent me pictures throughout his day. He obviously had a great day because he fell asleep before we got to the end of her street and he ate dinner and snored and slept all night. I'll definitely use her for my sitting needs.

Schedule
I am a stay at home wife so I am home with you pet most of the time. I drop off my kiddos in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon from school. I do occasionally go out to run errands. With extended family living behind us on our property there is almost always a human helper at home.

Safety, trust & environment
My dogs are all current on vaccines and I will gladly provide a copy of their current records. I ask that dogs I care for be current ln their vaccines as well. Please provide a copy of their vsccine records. At my home I have a fenced in and secured yard for your dog to play in. Please let me know if your dogs has any allergies or takes medication so I can make sure to take those extra steps for your beloved animal. The dogs can lounge around in the livingroom or go play outside. We have a warm fireplace for them to rest in front of during the cold months and cool wood flooors for them to relax on in the summer months. If I do a drop in for you, I will let your dog out to go to the bathroom and play. I will change their water and feed them as well.

A typical day
I can play fetch with your dog and play with their toys with them. I like to go to ARD park for walks but I am absolutely flexible. We can do walks around your neighborhood. For pet sitting and dog boarding please be sure to bring your fur baby's food and any other necessities for the visit. When boarding your dog at my home I have dogs of my own so they will have doggy companionship. Whether lounging outside on the deck, soaking up sun, going for a walk or spending time on the couch emjoying the air conditioning, your fur baby will feel at home.
