I’ve had dogs since I was four years old, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. Caring for them has never felt like a chore—it’s something I truly love. I’ve always had a special connection with dogs, and my friends and family joke that I’m a “dog whisperer” because dogs seem to gravitate toward me everywhere I go. Whether I’m on vacation or just out running errands, I can’t resist stopping to say hello to every dog I see. I’m also the kind of person who goes to a party and ends up spending most of my time playing with the dogs instead of socializing! I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. My childhood dog recently passed away after 16 wonderful years, and during her senior years I gave her daily medication, made sure our walks were comfortable with plenty of breaks, and, most importantly, gave her all the love and care she deserved. I also have a senior Chihuahua-Poodle mix who needs daily medication and occasional help getting onto the couch or bed, so I’m very comfortable caring for older dogs and understanding their unique needs. I also have a younger dog that I raised and helped potty train, and I’ve taught her several fun tricks, giving me experience with puppies and basic training as well. What sets me apart is that I treat every dog as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their personality, energy level, and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel happy and every owner feel confident knowing their furry family member is in caring hands.
