My husband and I are both retired Navy, and at least one of us is typically home/available most days. We can easily ensure our guests are never left unattended for long, and give those we visit/walk our undivided attention.

We have a split-level home with a large fenced in backyard, two kids, and two dogs of our own, and live on a cul-de-sac. Dogs are free to relax or play where they choose, and we are happy to take them on walks. We would like to request service to be scheduled far enough in advance to make sure we have time to introduce any prospective boarding guests to our dog and kids prior to finalizing care options to make sure everyone gets along and we are a good fit. That request to do a meet and greet goes for any dog-walking or drop-in care visits as well to make sure Ama (as the primary caregiver) is familiar with your residence, care preferences, and introduced to your dog prior to starting care.

We will do a meet and greet before all care options to make sure we’re a good fit for your dog’s needs. Then we would request your preferences/expectations for care, vet contact info, and for any known medical or temperament concerns. **No requests for cats, please. While we love them, Ama’s allergies do not.**

We do our best to keep your dogs on their typical routine, matching walk and play times and any owner requests, with extra play and attention since they are the focus.

Pet care experience
Dogs are family for us and have been since my husband and I were kids. We have years of experience in handling and caring for multiple breeds, are experienced with puppies and senior dogs, and can assist with basic training commands (sit, lay down, wait, stay).

Highly recommend! You can tell Ama truly loves animals and cares for them as if they’re her own. She followed all of our instructions for Nash and sent lots of pics and a thorough update!

If I could leave more stars I would. Ama took the absolute best care of our dog while we were out of town. Do not hesitate to book her for you dog’s needs.
Another out of the park home run for all involved. There isn’t enough space to list all the good things. I’m just extremely thankful for everything they have and do for my furkids!
