Loving pet sitter, works from home!
I’ve had pets since I was a child and as a young adult I began fostering for a local dog rescue. I’ve helped train several puppies to get them ready for a new home and adopted one myself. She is a happy, loving dog who is leash reactive so I also have experience walking a dog who struggles on the leash. My other dog is a small older man that I rescued as an adult. He loves cuddles and hates getting his medicine, but we have a good routine set and he is no longer afraid. My nine year old daughter provides a fun energy for playful pups or a great cuddle buddy for more mellow dogs as well.

This was my first longer trip since i moved here, and I was never concerned about my girls. It's nice to have a cat whisperer taking care of them. AND of course, I'll be looking for Alyx's services in the future.
Alyx was wonderful with my girls, and I'm sure is a cat "whisperer". I will definitely be using her services again.
Alyx always takes great care of my sometime skittish kitty. I feel really confident leaving care to Alyx whenever I have to leave home for any extended period of time.
Alyx was fabulous. She adjusted her visits to meet our three dogs needs. As this the first time we left them alone without a person staying overnight we were understandably concerned about the dogs feeling anxious/abandoned. We really appreciated her flexibility and great communication. Alyx even met with us and the dogs a couple days prior to our trip. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing the dogs were well cared for. Thank you Alyx!
Alyx did such a great job of caring for my cat for an extended period of boarding. My cat had her own space to explore and live in, and she was always safe. I am really grateful to have had such good care taken of my precious girl while I was away!

Schedule
I work from home so I’m always available to have dogs in my home. I also take my dogs to the dog park a few times a week and would be able to bring your dog with if that is something they enjoy and you’re comfortable with.

Safety, trust & environment
I am always around to give the dogs attention and make sure to take them out for walks and bathroom breaks several times throughout the day. I make sure to set alarms for important tasks such as medicine and their preferred meal times so nothing gets missed. My home is secure and all food is kept up and the trash is lidded. On walks, I make sure to walk my dogs separately from guests to reduce risk and I bring treats, bags, and safety tools with incase a loose dog approaches.

A typical day
If you’re comfortable with it, we love to go to the dog park. My playful dog also loves to share her toys and rough house. I have puzzle toys for treats and me and my daughter love to play with and cuddle any dogs in the home!
