If your dog has any special needs/medical needs or has specific things that bother them or scare them, please let me know so I can properly take care of our furry friend! My youngest dog is afraid of the garbage truck and will hide under a bed on Friday mornings when it comes, so I always have to lure her out with a treat and keep her company while the truck is outside. So if your dog has anything like that, feel free to let me know so I can be there for them!
A typical day
I love to take the dogs I watch to a park or a nice trail to explore after we’ve bonded during playtime and are comfortable with each other. I cheat sometimes with treats during the first meet up so your dog knows I’m a friend and there to keep them engaged and happy.

Hi! I’m Alyx and I’ve had pets my entire life. Any dog I’ve met I’ve loved like my own! I’m very experienced with senior dog care, especially administering medication and giving insulin shots since my own lab suffered from diabetes and hormone issues. I’m also familiar with puppy training as I’ve grown up with 4 different dogs, either labs or goldens. I currently have two goldens under 3 years and know so many fun trails around Lake Tahoe for fun walks! I love being in nature with my dogs, and I am pawsitive your pooch will have a good time.

Our dog can be a little wary around new people but she loved Alyx straight away and looks forward to every walk together!
Alyx is an AMAZING pet sitter. She truly loves my pets and has always made my pets so happy while I've been gone. She sends updates frequently and tons of fun pictures of my dog and cats while I'm gone so I have total piece of mind. I 100% recommend her - you won't be disappointed!
