I have taken care of dogs all my life! Dogs I grew up with, both my own and my neighbourhoods’, were very high energy and had different levels of comfort with people and other dogs, so I have experience with all behaviours. I also have plenty of experience dispensing medications, handling multiple dogs at once, etc.

I will care for your pet however you need and based upon the neighbourhood I am in! Am not able to have pets in my own home, but am able to travel to and from others with no problem. I always leave spaces in the same condition I came to them in and will be respectful always be respectful of your homes. I should be able to follow any routines that your pet already has and enjoys!
Ratings and reviews
Alyssa was great! We have one older collie x lab that needs to be given medication and one nervous whippet, both dogs need lots of attention. Our dogs were calm and relaxed when we got home after 4 days away so we can tell they felt very comfortable with her and were in good hands. She gave us lots of updates and sent through plenty of photos. She also left our house perfectly clean and tidy, just as we left it. We would definitely use Alyssa again in the future.
Alyssa is just the best!! She took wonderful care of our dogs! We have 3 big dogs with differing needs and personalities. 2 of them require medication. They are not the easiest and she was fabulous!!! We came home to a tidy house and three happy dogs 😊
Alyssa continues to take amazing care of our dogs! And she miraculously seems to not mind that our house doesn’t have couch cushions because of our husky 😅 She is super communicative and goes out of the way to take our dogs for off leash adventures.
Alyssa was just incredible with our 3 dogs! We have big dogs with individual needs, and she was competent, relaxed, and amazing! One of our dogs is a rescue who is quite afraid of people, and Alyssa let him set his own pace and he became relaxed and snuggly with her very quickly! She sent us nice pictures and updates and she left the house in good order ?
Alyssa recently stayed at our home to look after our dog, Marlee. She was wonderful with Marlee. A lovely bond was built between the two of them very quickly. Alyssa regularly sent updates and photos. We would not hesitate to have her look after Marlee again.
Alyssa is the ultimate pet caregiver - reliable, friendly, caring, outgoing and trustworthy. I have left my dog Dax in her care many times - as short as a day to as long as a week. Knowing that he was safely and happily following his routine at home brought me great peace of mind. As Alyssa is an outdoor enthusiast, she took Dax on extended walks/hikes on local dog-friendly trails. Knowing I was missing my "little guy", she sent photos and updates. It is most evident that Dax loves Alyssa - he literally jumps for joy when he sees her!
