New to Rover but not to dogs!
I have years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of dogs for friends, family, and my own pets — from small, spirited Dachshunds to energetic, playful Labradors. I’ve shared my home with several dogs over the years, including my current rescue, Xuxa. My experience includes daily walks, attentive care to feeding and potty schedules, basic grooming, and reinforcing training routines. I understand that every dog has its own personality and needs, and I take pride in providing patient, loving, and reliable care for each one.

I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so your pet can get to know me and feel comfortable. This also helps me learn their routine, behaviors, and any do’s and don’ts. If you’re short on time, no problem — I can quickly adapt to their potty, meal, play, and nap schedule. I’ll provide regular updates and keep an honest, detailed activity log during my care.

I couldn't recommend a better dog walker. Her photos and summary of each walk were fun to read. My pup loved her. She was flexible on the time schedule. We occasionally called her to modify the scheduled times and she was very flexible. I was very thankful.
Alyssa is always a huge help when I’m out of town for work! She is super punctual coming by to feed and check up on my cat, Shadow. She always spends quality time with him while I’m away and gives him all the love he deserves (and demands!). She helps to keep him active, well fed, and loved!
Alyssa took amazing care of my cat while I was away! She went above and beyond in terms of playing, and quality time and was attentive, reliable, and made sure my cat felt comfortable and loved. I got regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear she truly loves animals and I truly appreciated that. I’d trust her to watch my cat and kitten anytime!
