I’ve always had a dog since I was growing up. I’ve had 4 dogs from when I was younger. I now have two dogs one cat and two ducks. If I could, I would have a little farm! My family loves animals and we enjoy taking care of them. I have had two years experience at a certain pet store in the aquarium section and as a dog trainer.

I have a new townhome in a nice area, lots of space to go on walks. I have an open floor plan and they can have the whole downstairs to play. I have a gate to keep smaller dogs in one area if needed or for separation. I can also take requests for care at your home. I offer basic baths and other care upon request. I can take the dogs/pups out as many times as you want and feed them.

Alyssa was great, I was on short notice and she still managed to keep an eye on my cat. She was quick to respond and very communicative.
I feel a bit disappointed because things started off really strong with Alyssa for the first walk- she was responsive and there were no issues. From there, things went downhill. For the next two walks, she ended up cancelling on me the day of the scheduled walk with just a few hours notice. The last walk she cancelled literally an hour before the walk. While I understood her reasoning and get that things come up, her sudden cancellations ultimately left us without any time to make other arrangements for our dog. As a result, he ended up being stuck in his cage for 10 hours. My recommendation to other parents booking with Alyssa would be "have a plan b lined up for your pet". My feedback for Alyssa would be: "While I understand things come up, if you decide that you are not well enough to walk a pet that you agreed to walk, please be sure to let the pet parent know ideally the night before or the morning of- not 1 hour before the walk. That's not fair to the pet parent or the pet.".

Schedule
I am currently going to school full-time online at home so I am home every day. I am used to getting up early at 4:30 AM and taking care of our animals and am available up until 8:30 PM. This is every day of the week so I am pretty flexible with timing unless I am booked.
