I love dogs more than people.
I have taken care of my dog since I was 6. From walks and feeding, then eventually to giving meds, cleaning teeth, and taking him to the vet. He is almost 15 years old so I am very experienced with the care of older dogs. I often take care of family members and friends dogs and love to learn the personality’s of each dog to determine what they need in their day to day routines.

I can’t recommend Alyssa enough! She took amazing care of my pets. From the start, communication was clear and prompt—she kept me updated with photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease. She has a nurturing nature about her which made me feel like my pets were well taken care of. She brought a party hat and took a picture of our dog on his B-day. The other dog rolled on something stinky and she gave him a bath. It was obvious that Alyssa not only met all their basic needs but also gave them lots of love and attention. If you’re looking for a responsible, caring, and reliable dog sitter, Alyssa is the one. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!
Alyssa took care of my fur baby Jack for a whole week while I was on vacation. A toy Maltese, he is very picky with who he befriends, but he was very comfortable with her, as well as her other two dogs. She gave him his heart murmur meds, and when she sent us pics and he looked very content and happy, which gave my husband and I peace of mind for being gone so long.

Schedule
I am currently home from college for the summer so I can spend almost all day with pets and give them my undivided attention. I go on walks with my dog in the late afternoon so the hot concrete does not bother his paws.

Safety, trust & environment
I have large fenced in yard, with a very friendly older dog who loves nap time. We do not keep crates in the home but can do so if one is provided. Dogs are given free rein and are welcome on the beds and couches. We also have very comfortable dog beds they can choose from.
Pets
A typical day
It really depends on the pet. If they love a nap, we can cuddle up and watch a movie. If they love to play, we can go outside and throw a ball. If they love to run, I live right next to a park where we can go on a nice walk.
