I am currently working full time as a teacher but would have more availability during the summer. Hours will depend on the time of year. It would be before school or after school during the school year and open to more hours during the summer.

I do not offer in-home sitting due to the fact that I live out in the country and do not have a fence yet. I am more than happy to come to your home and care for your pets in the comfort of their own home.

I'd love to know before hand if your pet has any special needs or medical issues. Also if they are aggressive to particular things like certain areas of their body, food aggression, or anything else that I can know and be aware of to make them as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I love to use enrichment to stimulate animals both physically and mentally. Taking your pets to new areas to discover or enriching a part of your home to make it new and interesting is a great way to get pets up and active! Having pet parent approved treats around is great in helping me create enrichment or reinforcing good behaviors with a snack that is safe.

Pet care experience
Hello! I went to school for animal biology and psychology. I have worked with domestic animals and exotic animals as an animal trainer and keeper for over 14 years. I continue to work as a zookeeper in the summer while teaching full-time during the year. I have worked with fish/aquatic systems, birds, reptiles, and mammals from babies up to geriatric. I'm experienced giving medication and in training basic behaviors. I have two cat babies of my own, a parrot, a crestie, a tarantula, and aquarium. If my husband would let me I would probably have more. 🤣
