Versatile Pet Sitter
I always had dogs growing up and currently I have 1 yr old German Shepard/Golden Retriever mix. We also have a ball python and 4 turtles back in Florida who couldn't move with us to Hawaii. I have experience cleaning terrariums and filters and caring for reptiles. I have also cared for bearded dragons and cats. I would love to provide exceptional, above and beyond care for others pets as I do for my own.

My dog had a blast with Alyssa and her husband. They were both very knowledgeable about dogs. They respected his space during his feeding time (because he has a bit of resource guarding, especially with new people). He played wonderfully with their well behaved dog. Alyssa and her husband took him to the beach and took him on daily walks (all of which I was not expecting). Alyssa was in contact with me every day and sent pictures to me. I will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to others. Mahalo, Alyssa!

Schedule
I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule at home. Between my husband and I, one of us are always home and we take our dog on walks every 2-3 hours.

Safety, trust & environment
I have an active young dog myself and understand dogs especially need extra love and attention. I prepare fresh food for my dogs and have no problem providing care for special diets and concerns. My turtles required a lot of care to keep their water conditions just right and can be relied on to care for your pet just like you would.
Pets
A typical day
I live a very active life so naturally all the pets I care for including my own do also. We love to take our dogs on car rides, to the beach, out to a trail, running, to the dog park, etc. Of course, we always ask if it's ok to take the dogs we care for on an outing but that also depends how long we are caring for them.
