Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’ve spent the last 4 years volunteering at local animal shelters, where I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. I’ve also had the joy of fostering, which taught me how to give pets the patience, love, and structure they need to feel safe and happy.

Alyssa was so great with our golden retriever puppy!! It was our first time leaving him for the weekend and she made us feel so comfortable and made sure he was so well taken care of! He can be a ball of energy and Alyssa made sure he got enough exercise and shared photos and updates of all the fun they were having while we were away! We will definitely ask Alyssa to watch B again for our next trip!!

Schedule
I work fully remote so I have a very flexible schedule. I usually walk early in the morning and evenings as well and would love to have a companion join me!

I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a designated dog area, and I also spend a lot of time outdoors. I’m happy to host pets here or provide care in your home — whatever makes your furry friend most comfortable.
A typical day
I love taking walks at the park or beach and playing fetch with the dogs! I also think mental stimulation with an activity or game is super important to tire them out and challenge them a bit.
