Information Alyssa S. would like to know about your pet
For me, I personally like to know the commands that you have for your dog. It is incredibly important to train your dog with the same methods and I would hate for there to be confusion with these commands. I also think it is necessary to discuss the steps you would like me to take in the case of an emergency. I want to make sure you and your dog feel secure while your time away and I strive to give your dog the best care.
A typical day
I know all the good spots in town for nice long walks and am a frequent user of the dog park, so I am comfortable with engaging other dogs. I love the outdoors and do not mind spending most of my days outside playing with your dog! I would love to meet you and discuss the best routine for your pup!

Pet care experience
I am an undergraduate student at Northern Illinois University, I am completing my degree in Hospitality Management and this summer I have quite a bit of free time on my hands. After growing up with cats and dogs, I have grown to understand the commitment it takes to provide excellent care to our animals. Once my dog passed, I've been looking after pets for family friends whenever I got the chance. The dogs I grew up with were Golden Retrievers and a Dalmatian so they were a bit larger. Then when I dog sat it would range from a small Shih Tzu to larger dogs as well so my experience does vary. Right now I currently have 3 cats, one being 21 years old, so I know how to care for senior pets. If you're interested in my services, feel free to message me so we can figure out the details! I met Alyssa at the dog park when she brought a dog that she was dog-sitting and she was amazing with everyone's dogs! I had to get her number so that I could use her in the future, and when I did everything went so smoothly. It is so nice having someone in town that I can trust with my dog and I love that she is familiar with the dog park and the other pet owners! I will definitely be asking for her help from now on!

My usually standoffish dog took to her immediately during the meet and greet. Alyssa is a dependable, super nice girl, absolutely no issues what so ever. She will be my go to dog sitter for as long as she wants to.
