Passionate animal lover
I have always loved animals of all kinds, but particularly dogs and horses. Growing up they sparked my curiosity and need to discover. The majestic appearance of the horses + the care-free spirit of the dogs at the barn I rode at led to my passion for photography. Any chance I got I was outside with these animals—always with a camera nearby. This hasn't changed. To say I'm a nature + animal lover would be an understatement. It's who I am. I grew up riding and have been petsitting since high school (from fish and rodents to dogs, cats and horses). I will treat your fur baby with the same love and attention that I give my rescue dog, Sammy. Note: March 2021 my little love of 12+yrs very unexpectedly passed away. We had a fun mountain adventure and less than 12hrs later we were at the emergency vet, where I learned the heartbreaking diagnosis (hemangiosarcoma, tumor ruptured) and was forced to say a tearful goodbye to Sammy. It’s been very hard but I’m using my energy to love on other furry friends.

Alyssa checked in on my two cats while I was away for a long weekend and was very communicative and helpful and sent photos of them with her update.
Alyssa took our 7 month old lab for a walk on relatively short notice. She was prompt, professional, and communicative. Great to find a trustworthy dog walker in the area!
Alyssa was so great watching my kitties over the holidays! She was communicative, sent adorable pictures of my boys, and took great care of them. Highly recommend!

I work remotely which allows flexibility with overnights and frequency of visits. I look forward to meeting your furry family members and keeping them happy while you’re away.
