Pet care experience
Dog walker & part-time house sitter
Hi! I’m Alyssa and I grew up with all the pets, which were mostly cats and medium-to-large dogs (a golden retriever, a mut, a doodle, a husky!). For my day job I teach preschool art. I have four cats myself whom I love very much! I am happy to come spend time with your fur babies am able to walk and house sit part-time. I’m available afternoons (3 p.m. - 8 p.m.) and overnight.

Safety, trust & environment
I can’t keep pets at my place because my cats are scaredy; but I’m happy to come house-sit at yours. Let me know what diet, treat schedule, and medications your pet requires in addition to playtime needs and their general preferences.
Ratings and reviews
Alyssa has cared for my dog, Daisy, a 5-year-old Lab mix, on numerous occasions, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly as a pet sitter. Most recently, Alyssa stayed at my house and cared for Daisy for 10 days while I was out of the country. I felt completely comfortable knowing Daisy was safe, happy, and receiving excellent care in my absence. Alyssa was attentive to Daisy’s needs, kept her on her regular walking and feeding schedule, and made sure she got plenty of love and attention. Alyssa is also a terrific communicator and incredibly easy to work with. She provided regular updates while I was away, which gave me great peace of mind, and she left my home exactly as she found it. Beyond being responsible and dependable, Alyssa is genuinely kind, caring, and thoughtful, and it’s clear how much she loves animals. She treats pets as if they were her own and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I would trust Alyssa with Daisy anytime and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and reliable pet sitter.

Schedule
I have four senior cats that all require special diets. Two and two are separated. One cat is medicated (not contagious/ kidney-related ). They all get fed (and the one medicated) twice a day. Between that and the litter boxes, it’s a daily routine. When I am pet sitting, my mom (and roomie!) takes care of the kitties.
