My name is Alyssa, and I'm a major dog lover. I took a brief hiatus from Rover sitting, but I’m back and excited to care for your dog! For as long as I can remember I've been obsessed with dogs. I grew up with two Vizslas that I helped take care of, when I couldn't have my own I would dog-sit for family friends for weeks at a time, then I got my own dog. He's a five-year old Boxer/Border Collie mix named Reese who would love his own dog, but he'll have to settle for friends who come stay with him.

Alyssa has been our go to sitter for 2 years now and I can’t say enough wonderful things about her! Our dog Junie has a great time with her and her dog Reese, and we get regular updates and pictures! I never feel worried or guilty when I drop junie off because I know I’m really leaving her in the best hands and she’s going to have the time of her life! Five stars and two thumbs up as always!!
Alyssa was fast to respond, sent daily pictures and was overall a great person to take care of your dog. My pup came home happy :)

Alyssa is now our go-to sitter and we can’t say enough good things! She sends us tons of pictures and updates us on our Junie’s activities, and Junie always comes home happy and like she’s had a great time! Junie also gets along great with Alyssa’s pup, which is an added plus. When I leave Junie with Alyssa I can always relax assured that she’s in the absolute best hands. Two thumbs (and four paws) up!

Schedule
I live in an apartment in the Uptown area of Minneapolis, near Lake of the Isles. I work from home 3-4 days per week and can stay home more if needed. Your pet will get a lot of attention, play time with my dog if they're into it, at least 2 walks per day, and you'll get a lot of photos.

Safety, trust & environment
I have experience administering medicine to dogs, including insulin injections and caring for dogs who are either elderly or youthful and need more attention. My own dog has some anxiety issues, so I'm very understanding and flexible. My apartment is pet proof, and I will do my best to love your dog while you're gone!
Pets
A typical day
My dog and I are fairly active - he gets at least two long walks a day, occasionally goes to the dog park, and will also join me for runs. He also loves to play with other dogs. So your dog will have the opportunity to join these adventures and get in all the sniffs around the neighborhood! If that's not your dog's vibe, we also love to hang out on the couch and cuddle, so we can easily adapt to your dog's needs.
