I’ve cared for everything from pee smelling puppies to powdered mouthed seniors and loved every moment of it. I’ve babysat puppies for my sister and extended family, so I understand that they need frequent bathroom breaks, lots of patience, and constant supervision. When it comes to senior dogs, I’ve looked after large breeds with autoimmune disease and hip dysplasia. I’m experienced in administering medication to dogs of all ages and know the tricks to make pill time easy. I have walked small dogs to big dogs and also reactive dogs, I have no issue taking dogs out for frequent potty breaks or long walks. I’ve cleaned ears and teeth, bathed, dried, and brushed dogs of all coat types from shedding huskies to curly coated poodles. And yes I have absolutely no issue cleaning up poop or pee. If they gotta go, they gotta go!

Alyssa was absolutely amazing. She is so kind and communicative and sends a lot of pictures. She took care of my baby stitch for about 3 weeks and also came into do drop in visits for my cat and she took care of them as her own. She is so sweet and patient and you can tell she truly loves animals and has a great bond with them. I would definitely recommend and will be booking with her again in the future. No issues at all she’s great in every sense.
Alyssa was a very detailed and thoughtful sitter. We left our two large dogs in her care for a few days, and she was highly communicative and attentive to our dogs needs. Would rebook whenever we need a sitter again!
Alyssa was amazing with Willow! She was constantly sending updates of him which made us feel less worries while we were gone, and she was constantly playing and taking Willow out to make sure he had the best time too! Will definitely be rebooking :)

Schedule
I’m currently a junior at NYU studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. This semester, I’ve intentionally lightened my course load to make more time for pet care something I genuinely enjoy. I’m available Mondays and Wednesdays after 11:00 AM, Fridays after 4:00 PM, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. During home stays, I’m great at multitasking while still being fully attentive to your furbaby’s needs. Whether it’s playtime, potty breaks, or just keeping them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

When caring for pets in my client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and stress free as possible. I make sure to follow any specific instructions carefully whether it’s feeding schedules, potty breaks, medication, or playtime preferences. I’m very respectful of the home, always keeping things clean and organized, and making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, loving space with plenty of attention, walks, and stimulation tailored to their needs. I’m mindful of any anxiety they may feel in a new place and take the time to help them settle in gently. I keep a close eye on their behavior, make sure they’re eating and drinking regularly, and maintain a clean, cozy environment litter boxes, bedding, toys, and food bowls are always fresh and tidy. No matter the location, my top priority is always making your pet feel happy, secure, and loved while you're away.

A typical day
For dogs, I love playing tug of war it's not only fun, but I’ve read it can actually help build their confidence. I also enjoy teaching dogs tricks just for fun and mental stimulation, and I like to make enrichment pads by hiding treats in a mat to keep their minds engaged. If the dog is active and there’s a safe space to run around, I’ll incorporate a more energetic play session with games like tag or fetch. Whether they need physical exercise, mental stimulation, or just a cuddle buddy, I tailor each session to fit their personality and energy level. For cats I can put on a video for them to watch or play fetch as well as play with the tassel toys!

- Please let me know if you pets have any types of dietary restrictions or allergies. I would also let me know if the pet is reactive and what type of things anima/people make them reactive as going on walks I am able to avoid certain areas or be more hypervigilant. I would also like to know if there are areas where your pet has received surgery or any tender spots so I can be more careful around those areas when grooming or petting!
