I am an animal shelter volunteer and have worked as a pet caregiver for well over a decade. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets in and around the North Valley area of Albuquerque, where I am based. I've lived in New Mexico for 6+ years, previously did pet sitting in Rio Rancho, and I ran a successful pet-sitting business through Dog Vacay/Rover in Chicago and Atlanta. I have a dog and child of my own and am experienced and comfortable with pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. At this time, I offer dog walks, pet sitting in your home, and house sitting. At this time, I am not offering the service of watching pets in my own home due to having my own dog. However, I am happy to stop by to visit or stay in your home to take care of your pets. Safety and high-quality care are my top priorities. I am highly detail-oriented and will follow your pet care instructions and preferences to a T.

Alyssa took on the challenge of looking after our recently adopted rescue pup Sasha for several days while we were out of town. She and her husband directed Sasha's high energy towards lots of fun activities such as hiking, running and going to the dog park. Alyssa kept up great communication with us during the vacay and we appreciated the daily updates and photos which let us see that Sasha was being well cared for.
