Our 10 month old retriever puppy, Cooper, had a fantastic time with Alyssa & Nick! We greatly appreciated how much love they gave him - allowed him to snuggle right up and make himself at home. He can be a handful and they managed his "puppyness" very well in keeping him safe & comfortable! Their communication was awesome. Thank you for having him!!

This was my first experience using Rover. Alyssa and Nicholas were AMAZING with my two Australian Shepherds. I could tell they were loved and well cared for. I highly recommend them.

Schedule
We have a unique mix of work schedules that allow for flexibility when watching your furbabies. Between our two jobs and the flexibility both give, someone is always around!

Safety, trust & environment
We own a bungalow in a safe neighbourhood with a completely fenced-in and secure yard. The house has a finished basement and tons of space for dogs to have fun! We live near multiple parks and enjoy being active outside.
A typical day
We have become masters of mental enrichment! Fostering dogs has taught us how to be creative with limited resources (i.e strict diets). We have just as much fun as the dogs we watch when we go for walks, play a mentally stimulating game, practice tricks, etc.

- We love to learn as much as possible about the dogs we watch and THEIR schedule. It's important to us that we stick to their schedules and timing to ensure they feel at home when they're with us. This can look like the following: - what time do they go to bed typically? - are they used to eating before they go out in the morning? - do they have a special nighttime ritual (a toy they need with them, getting tucked in, a treat before bed, etc.) - where do they like their bed to stay? Near you at all times during the work day, in the bedroom, etc. Any information helps us curate a cozy and familiar environment :)
