I work at the Milo Foundation in point Richmond Wednesday-Sunday. Your dog would need to be ok for 8hrs alone on those days or if they are small I can take them with me to work. Before and after work would be dedicated time spent with your pet and I am off on Mondays and Tuesdays.

While walking, your pets safety is my number one priority and I will make sure to walk in areas deemed appropriate by clients. Having dogs of my own, I understand the importance on keeping them safe when out. I also like to use a harnesses when walking to avoid a dogs collar slipping and possibility of getting loose.

I like to know if the dog is comfortable walking a certain route. I have experience with dogs that have social anxiety and that get nervous if they walk in areas they haven’t been. I would appreciate any info about if your dog is friendly with other people/dogs, if they are reactive to certain things, and if there are specific areas I should avoid walking them.
A typical day
I like to take dogs for walks to get their energy out. I also like going to a park with them and throwing the ball around if they enjoy that or even going on a trip to the beach if comfortable with that!

I have worked at 2 dog facilities, The Meadows Canine Camp in Santa Rosa and I currently work at the Milo Foundation where I walk and adopt out dogs. I currently have a foster named Grayson (boxer) who is good with small dogs. I love animals and I am very qualified to take care of your pet while you are away. Cant wait to meet them!

Alyssa was very responsive all the way from when we first reached out to when we had her watch our dog for 3 nights in our home. She was considerate to our energetic dog when we did a meet n greet before scheduling her. She was a super sitter and we look forward to working with her again!
Right off the bat I felt very comfortable leaving my frenchie Finnegan with Alyssa for a two night stay. She is clearly an animal person and Finn warmed up to her right away. This was my first experience with Rover, and it worked out great! I received photo updates of Finn at the beach, playing with his ball and hanging out with Alyssa throughout his stay. I will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thank you, Alyssa!
Alyssa was amazing! She took great care of my boy and was confident taking him out for walks even with his reactive behaviour. He was a good boy with her and was quickly comfortable with her! Will definitely be booking her again!
