A typical day
I will take your pet's cues on how to spend our time. I've taken bold dogs on "sniffaris" as far as their nose will take them, and I have let shy cats feel safe in their hiding spot without bothering them, plus everything in between.

I know how scary it is to entrust others with your pets, especially if you are like me and have an anxious/reactive pet. I volunteer with a local shelter, and they've taught me so much when it comes to minimizing stress in animals as much as possible. I will treat your pets like I treat my own, with a focus on comfort, reducing stress, and respecting boundaries in what your pet might find to be a new or scary situation.

This was my third time having Alyssa do drop ins for my cat while I’ve been out of town and I can’t say enough great things! I’m so appreciative to have a sitter I can competely trust and know she’ll give my cat all the love, food, pets, and care while I’m away. Alyssa took care of our skittish cat who needed medications as well as our friendly outgoing cat while we were away. She was communicative, reliable, and professional. She even rinsed the cat dishes when they were done! It was so nice to know the cats (even the complicated one with injections) were in good hands. Alyssa was thorough and trustworthy and we would definitely book her again as well as recommend her to friends!
